The body as a paht and as a vehicle
The advantages of a programme
After many years of trainings, workshops, sessions and other activities with people, I have come to the conclusion that body and psychobody workout in itself, despite having a psychotherapeutic accompaniment (from where I develop it), lacks of a more holistic approach (eu-holistic I like to call it to differentiate it from all the pseudo-holistic paraphernalia of nowadays). I have realized that although the psychosomatic and psychoneuroanatomical processes are intelligible and treatable from a psychotherapeutic point of view (let's abbreviate it like that), certain more metaphysical and/or metascientific phenomenology, real and evident, if it appears (It always appears anyway), it has no resolution or Integration; so that people may become orphan of a more complete process and accompaniment that helps them in the digestion and integration of "emerged and emerging material". Thus, the personal evolution or the therapeutical process does not achieve to be optimously profitable without an additional cost of energy and hope or, despair or mistakes.
This orphanhood or lack of an integral context of personal evolutionary work, favors or, directly causes, what I consider an Involuntary Therapeutic Tourism (or Therapy Thourism). Thus, many people runs in a disconnected search (and not infrequently egoic) of tools that promise to be resolutive and which, often, become counterproductive without assessesment of professional criteria (or spiritual one by a suitable master), with PERSPECTIVE OF A PERSONAL EVOLUTIONARY PROCESS.
People seek out, or experiment with, or latch on (like leeches), to a resource or an approach, or to a luster (something that dazzles because it shines in a certain way). Sometimes a false deployment of pseudo-religious or pseudo-spiritual methods are observed which attract people with pain, who end up worn out, frustrated or trapped, because time shows them that a longed-for solution is not materialised.
There are also searchers who, from their ego or rationality and mental logic, walk around searching and "finding" unsuccessfully or with few hits, without realizing that, precisely, their own characterial and neurotic blockages, usually unconscious, stimulates them to that "Invonluntary Therapy Tourism" (which, depending on how, ends up as voluntary). Conversely, there are also those who fall into a disappointment or, at the very least, a rejection, towards conventional or scientific medicine or therapeutics, due to unfortunate experiences, unsatisfied hopes, unachieved results, deceptions, fear projections, etc., and they may abandon the advantages offred by modern medicine.
When I talk about an INTEGRAL, INTEGRATIVE and INTEGRATOR system, I also refer to considering a global view of everything that a person may looks for or may need to. It is a topic to talk long. Now I just want to point out that if A PATH is offred to a seeker without big promises and treating him/her as an unique individual, a PERSONALIZED work can be developed sourcing his/her needs. Therefore, anxiety of blind or wasted explorations disappear.
All this, on one hand, but in addition, on the other hand, I have also realized that the life or experiential study (the "own-experience") of the psychological character, despite being something that is already well-known and currently prostituted, if it is not always accompanied by a self-exploration of the character-body-psyche relationship and the psychosomatic and behavioral manifestations generated; so here again, we also have orphan processes. And this is not new either; but something else is still missing by many.
Thus, what is left to us (for me a transcendental part) is the psycho-spiritual, numinous or spiritual dimension. In the West, especially, materialism, scientism (not science), scholasticism, the misrepresentation or prostitution of the this subject and also (why not to say it?) egos, ignorance and fear, all that, makes this area to be despised, rejected, misunderstood, wasted or corrupted, perverted and vitiated. In short, denied.
Nevertheless, the spiritual dimension is part of the human condition, and not only human, but universal. But the way everyone understands it depending on their psychology, education, religious tradition, culture, intelligence, personality, worldview, cosmogony and personal evolution.
After experiencing many things, I do believe that no other system apart from Sufism and the true Islam offers a framework of action more modern, real, true and sophisticated that integrates the spiritual dimension, despite prejudices and ignorance that "Western" society has about it, and despite also the distortion, degeneration, misinterpretation and decrepitude that there usually are in societies considered Islamic.
As far as we delve into the knowledge of this spiritual realm in a serious and even analytical way (analysis as far as our intellect reaches) you discover the weight that this "unknown" dimension has in life and, for so much so, in health, that after all it is the main reason why people seek therapy, transformation, evolution and improvement, or if you like, changes. I finally consider that character-body-psyche-soul relationship is the complete skein to work on yourself in the physical or material plane, as a manifestation of your own spiritual reality. And it's clear that a single person can't find the resources and always get it right, and oneself can't un-self-boycott easily or, simply, can't do it at all. And of course, oneself cannot manage or modify anything on the spiritual plane because oneself neither knows nor is aware of everything that is there, nor it belong to us that knowledge; and that is why the alive saints are spiritual masters. This is how I have experienced it and I see very clearly the benefits of offering the participants a PROGRAMME with a package of resources and a SYSTEM of work in the physical, material plane, here and now. For those who do not follow any spiritual path or framework, the existence of Sufism as a real spiritual work can be shown as integrating the work in the material plane.
Then, I have come to the final conclusion that in order to optimize the energy, resources, time, interest and effort of a person seeking effective and reliable health or personal improvements or changes, the best option is to have a program that I prefer to call it TRANSFORMATION or EVOLUTION on the basis of becoming aware of what usually oneself is not aware of.
